2012 Events Calendar for the Galtee, Knockmealdown, Comeragh and Slievenamon Mountain Area

This 'Events' page is your main port of entry for all events in the Cahir area and within easy striking distance. It loosely covers the area surrounding and between the Mountains of South Tipperary and neighbouring parts of counties, Cork, Limerick and Waterford.

If you are visiting the area you will see from the calendar below that there are plenty of varied and interesting things going on that you can come to see or even take part in. This calendar is still a work in progress at the moment and you will see that some events do not yet have firm dates - so please check back regularly for updates.

As details firm up more information will be added to this website for events in Cahir and it's immediate vicinity. New pages will be added for each event and these will be accessed under the 2012 section in the right-hand column of this page. Events a little further afield mostly have their own websites and links to these sites appear in the calendar below.

The information in the calendar has been supplied to us and we will only be able to update this if we receive information from the event organisers. So before planning your trip please also take a look at the individual event websites just in case anyone forgets to tell us about any changes.
