The Run Cahir is a 5km Fun Run and 10km Race tool place on Easter Saturday, 23rd April, in Association with Cahir Outreach Group in aid of the Chernobyl Children project. There was a field day of fun in the grounds of Dunesek Sports Complex after the race. The run was planned and organised by the Tri3 guys whor organise the triathlon—so if you want to test your mettle in advance of the triathlon or just want a fun day out for the family Run Cahir.
The race started in the Castle Car Park and headed down the Coronation Walk to the Swiss Cottage and back along the Ardfinnan Road. This is the same route as the running portion of the triathlon. The photos below show some of the action. The 10k runners did two laps of the same course. More information and photos are available on the event's dedicated website at www.runcahir.ie and on the Run Cahir Facebook
